Apparently Catherine Deneuve took personal interest in its development, which can’t really be said of many of the celebrity fragrances currently in proliferation.

Deneuve has a fresh green lightness, followed by a sunny garden and wood finish.

It has green top notes with Galbanum, Bergamot, Neroli, Basil, and Aldehyde.

A delicate heart of Rose, Muguet, Jasmin, Orris, Ylang-Ylang, Violet, and Hyacinth.

It is carried lightly on base notes of Moss, Musk, Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Civet.

Those who know and love this perfume love it passionately and use their supply judiciously.

You will find the original perfume on eBay from time to time.

There is also a copy called Cannes by Irma Shorell which claims to be a good imitation.
