A watch is a cross between jewelry and accessory - so you can't lose!

• A good quality watch never goes out of style.
• Take note of her jewelry preference for gold or silver.

TIP: How many does she have already? She probably only needs 2 or 3. Any more and they get too hard to keep track of.

7. Shoes

Shoes are always a winner, but you must, must, MUST check out her other shoes for her size.

• Does she usually wear heels?
• Does she have any really good quality shoes?
• Is she missing boots, sandals, or pumps?

8. Clothing

When it comes to clothing you must know that we're talking key pieces here:

• Coats
• Quality knitwear
• Designer blouses
• Evening pants, dresses
• Or a really funny t shirt - not everything has to be serious!

Always check her clothes (the ones she actually wears – not the ones she is saving for when she loses weight) for the correct sizing.

Keep all receipts and check for returns policies, just in case she doesn’t like it.

9. Electronic Goodies

Electronic gadgets make really cool gift ideas as they are usually small and useful, as well as being trendy.

• IPod
• Mobile Phone
• Nintendo Wii - You know,the exercise version.
• GPS Navigator

10. Beautiful stationery

No woman can resist a set of beautifully designed stationery.

Notepads, diaries, folders,and photo albums…These all make great Christmas presents.

Especially if you buy a good quality pen and have it engraved with her name to go with it.

Choose the ones that are made from natural materials and decorated with modern, graphic patterns.

Just remember, wrap it and write a lovely card to go with it.
