Yes, you are on the right track.
Yoga clothes will definitely make a great Christmas gift for her.
But what to buy? What clothes do women actually wear for yoga?
The best yoga wear is made from stretchy, breathable fabrics that allow for plenty of movement without gaping or bunching up.
She needs to be able to stretch and hold poses...and look great while she's doing it.
The truth is that, like most things were groups of people get together in a room to do stuff, it's very important to have the right gear and the right look.

Don't believe me? Try walking into a Yoga Studio decked out like a Jane Fonda Workout in hot pink Lycra and see if you are greeted as warmly as those wearing the organic, hand woven, carbon neutral, totally sustainable tree bark kit beside you.
Miss Trixie tried it just last week. She reckons hot pink Lycra g-string leotards rule, but even she has second thoughts about trying a Downward Dog in one of those.
So, back to the yoga apparel:
Probably the most important piece is the pants.

Yoga pants
can be any length, but generally they feature a wide waistband and a loose or bootleg cut.
Now you could just go for a simple pair of track pants, they'll certainly double as cheap yoga pants, but if you look at the pictures on this page, you'll see some differences
Yoga pants have more style and class that the old trackies.
She'll really love anything that is made from natural fibers and if it's organic then that's even better.

Yoga tops
should fit fairly closely to the body. The more fitted the better.
A regular t-shirt usually won't work because every time she does a pose where she leans down it will fall or gape and be distracting and uncomfortable.
Standard button shirts are going to be too tight over the shoulders.
The best choice is a slim fitting singlet or t-shirt
that will hug her body and move with her.

If you know she already has a range of pants and tops she wears, how about yoga socks?
These are just perfect as a gift idea and practical too.
If she's finding her room a little chilly, or if she's at all worried about how clean the mat is she's using at the Yoga Studio, then she'll love a pair of these cuter than cute non-slip toe socks!
She'll really love these
Yoga Sandals.

Not only do they look fantastic, but they serve to add to her yoga practice, too.
They separate each, individual toe and help with balance and flexibility. Perfect for wearing to and from the Yoga Studio, or even to the shops!
Yoga apparel follows trends like any fashion. You'll see that there is a huge amount of choices out there.
Stick to quality suppliers with natural fabrics and she'll be extremely happy with your choice of gift.
If you're still not sure what to give her, why not give her a
Gift Certificate
so she can buy her own yoga clothes or accessories?
Gift certificates are a great choice for last minute gifts, too.
